  3. Step 3: Material Preparation

    Rattan poles, peel, and complementary fibers are sorted and prepared for construction.

  4. Step 4: Sampling

    A physical sample is built to confirm proportion, feel, and finish before production.

    Photos, videos, and physical samples are shared for buyer approval and revisions.

  6. Step 6: Material Treatment

    Material Treatment

    Multi-step DTM: soaking, steaming, AKIS, and fumigation to help minimize insect issues.

    Note: the term "AKIS" refers to a specific step in our internal treatment sequence.

    Surfaces are sanded, stained, and finished to your chosen specification.

    In-line and final inspections check joinery, weaving, dimensions, and finish.
